6/5 Detroit Lions @ Minnesota
Vikings 5/7
We have to warn you that we could not get or regular Money
Line Odds for this game, but they are accurate. Although the mainstream media
continues to make Keenum the butt of their jokes, the betting public is behind him,
which is all that matters to us. Too bad. Getting the Vikings at home at better
than even money may be over, but after watching Tom Brady score on every
possession in Detroit during preseason for over a quarter we were left with zero faith
in the Lions Defence.
Keenum reminds us a lot of the Tom Brady from mid-2003
with about 40 starts under his belt. Keenum only has 26 starts, but has been in
the league longer. We are not saying for a second that Keenum is becoming Brady.
What we are saying is that Keenum is mentally tough, has an incredible drive to
win, and has learned how to play within his limitations in the NFL. He has an
amazing work ethic, a great attitude and a sunny disposition.
Keenum can throw
the ball with very good accuracy and touch up to 40-50 yards down field and get
rid of it safely when under duress. We do believe that Keenum should be starting
ahead of several Quarterbacks now starting for other teams and that he is in fact a
starting caliber NFL Quarterback. Bet
Minnesota at 5/7 and enjoy what should be a good show.
