The NFL in tis Moment - Week Three 2017 - Early Look

NFL Money Line – Week Three 2017

21 SEP   4/6 Los Angeles Rams   @   San Francisco 49ers 13/10
The Rams are overrated. Washington has problems but the win over the Rams was never in doubt last week. As ineffectual as the Seahawks Offence is, it is still a leg up on the Rams. Take the 49ers as home dogs as Hoyer finally gets a Defence he can deal with after probably the top two NFC Defences (Carolina & Seattle) to start the season. The Rams still have a long way to go.

24 SEP   London, UK   1/2 Baltimore Ravens   @   Jacksonville Jaguars 17/10
The Ravens report steady improvement from QB Joe Flacco while you simply cannot bet Jacksonville until they replace Bortles. Baltimore @ 1/2 is generous really.

24 SEP   10/27 Miami Dolphins   @   New York Jets 23/10
The Jets young Defence is not ready to compete with a “good team”, but Miami with Cutler under center may not qualify as a “good team” based on the limited available data. 23/10 on the Jets at home is a fair price.

24 SEP   20/33 Denver Broncos   @   Buffalo Bills 29/20
Denver’s Defence travels and whether you like Siemian or not, outscoring the Bills should not prove insurmountable. 20/33 on Denver is good value.

24 SEP   13/2 Houston Texans   @   New England Patriots 1/10
Belichick has never lost a game vs a rookie QB and this one ain’t all that. Even so, 1/10 is too short to play.

24 SEP   10/13 Cleveland Browns   @   Indianapolis Colts 11/10
It seems like forever since the Browns were favored. The oddsmakers should have waited longer. The Colts took Arizona to extra time when Brissett threw his first interception in Indy, but will have had another week to learn the playbook and practice with his receivers. 11/10 on the Colts at home is a steal.

24 SEP   12/5 New York Giants   @   Philadelphia Eagles 5/14
The Eagles should kill the Giants but 5/14 is too short, the Eagles may not be as good as we thought and the Giants may not be as bad as we think.

24 SEP 2/7 Pittsburgh Steelers   @   Chicago Bears 11/4
The Bears were awful in Tampa. Pittsburgh is famous for losing road games to lesser opponents. Take the Bears and get your money back from last week.

24 SEP   5/8 Atlanta Falcons   @   Detroit Lions 7/5
Bad officiating got the Falcons/Packers game out-of-hand just before the end of the first half, but the Lions are not the Packers. As is our rule, anytime we like the Lions to beat a team with a winning record we pass (research Stafford’s record in these games if tempted).

24 SEP   11/5 New Orleans Saints   @   Carolina Panthers 5/13
The Panthers have only scored two [2] touchdowns this season, both of which came off of turnovers deep in their opponents end. The 11/5 Saints have been scoring around 20 points per game, which should be enough to win this one.

24 SEP   5/4 Seattle Seahawks   @   Tennessee Titans 20/29
Hard to believe that the Titans were favored over the Raiders and now the Seahawks. The 5/4 Seahawks should win for fun.

24 SEP   13/4 Cincinnati Bengals   @   Green Bay Packers 2/9
The Packers have a lot of injuries to deal with so early. The Bengals fired their OC for failing to get into the end zone yet this year. The 13/4 Bengals are desperate and worth a small flutter at those odds.

24 SEP   5/9 Kansas City Chiefs   @   Los Angeles Chargers 8/5
The Chiefs have started well but both their wins left us feeling dissatisfied whilst the Chargers just lost their eleventh of their past eighteen games by less than one score. Rivers has never lost his first three starts of the year (going back to 2004) so the 8/5 Chargers look to be a very good bet.

24 SEP   20/33 Oakland Raiders   @   Washington Redskins 29/20
We started looking at our watch wonder how long the Redskins would take to self-destruct when (and how) Dan Snidely fired Scot McCloughan this spring. The 29/20 Redskins have the horses to win this one, but the margin for error is too slim to bet on them with confidence when you know QB Cousins will be on the first possible stagecoach to ‘Frisco.

25 SEP   10/17 Dallas Cowboys   @   Arizona Cardinals 6/4
The Cowboys dream existence turned into a nightmare last week, coincidentally the week Elliott’s suspension was to have started. We think it is Karma, not a coincidence, and expect it to continue, though not strong enough to bet on Palmer.
