to keep Philip Rivers

Aikman 1989, Bledsoe 1993, Manning 1998, other Manning 2004 and Luck 2014 - A total of five (5) first over-all picks that were sure things from 1989 to present (25 years) that actually were can't miss prospects who at least took their teams to the Super Bowl (Luck has not yet but should). Adding in second over-all yields but one more - Donavan McNabb. My point is that trading up to get Mariota has a one (1) in twenty five (25) chance - 4% - of being successful at number two and a one (1) in five (5) chance - 20% - of being successful if he was a consensus number one which he is not.
