The NFL in this moment - Week Fifteen 2015

After losing all of our work twice now we will keep things short and to the point. The Rams did win fairly easily despite the intervention of the officials. Matt Cassel was getting creamed yet again during the first half after yet again splitting the reps with the number ones, this week to young buck Kellen Moore. Jerrah pulled Cassel (via his dummy Jason) after Matt was running for his life when two Jets took a clean shot at him while the right side of the Cowboy offensive line stood around dumbfounded. How anyone could mention the Cowboys and the playoffs in the same sentence seemed ludicrous watching the first half.

In other happenings, the rest of the NFC East are all underdogs on Sunday (Redskins +2.5, Eagles + 3.5 and Giants +4.0) with Washington up from +1.0 and New York down from +5.5 and Philly holding steady.  The Raiders are only +3.5 points against the Packers after winning in Denver last week while the Steelers are big favorites at home (now -7.0) over the Broncos. Cincinnati (led by AJ McCarron) Bengals are favored on the road (now -6.0) against the 49ers, the Patriots are steady at -14.0 when Tennessee visits while the Browns are 8/1 when Johnny visits Seattle.

10/17       New York Jets (-3.0) @ Dallas Cowboys              6/4
Ryan Fitzpatrick’s aversion to an above 0.500 season meets The Jerry Jones Circus in Dallas.
Selection: None

5/16         Kansas City Chiefs (-7.0) @ Baltimore Ravens    13/5
Alex Smith takes on Jimmy Clausen a week after the Chiefs scored the fewest points against the Chargers all season.
Selection: None

20/29       Buffalo Bills (-2.0) @ Washington Redskins        5/4
This game could prove to be the acid test for Washington following their win over Chicago (after losing to Dallas) which could not only level their record at 7-7 but also put them in sole possession of first place in the NFC East. Buffalo has been taking the money so far (down from -0.5 points to -2.0 points) as people continue to pound money on Yogi Bear in a stupid sweater vest (aka Rex Ryan). We should take a pass but think Kirk Cousins could be legit.
Selection: Washington Redskins @ 5/4

2/1           Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings (-5.5)          5/12
The Bears seem to be coming along nicely under John Fox and his staff while the Vikings starting defence was very good but injuries have revealed a huge drop-off due to lack of depth. This game should be a Pick’ Em, Minnesota -1.5 points at most, so the Bears look like excellent value.
Selection: Chicago Bears @ 2/1

8/1           Cleveland Browns @ Seattle Seahawks (-14.5) 1/14
Selection: Browns

20/33       Green Bay Packers (-3.0) @ Oakland Raiders     29/20
Selection: Raiders

23/10       Denver Broncos @ Pittsburgh Steelers (-6.5)     10/27
Selection: Steelers

5/11         Cincinnati Bengals (-4.5) @ San Francisco 49ers              9/5
Selection: 49ers

21/20       Miami Dolphins @ San Diego Chargers (-2.0)      4/5
Selection: None

4/7           Arizona Cardinals (-3.5) @ Philadelphia Eagles 31/20
Selection: Eagles

SNF
7/5           Detroit Lions @ New Orleans Saints (-3.0)          5/8
Selection: None

TNF
5/4           Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ St. Louis Rams (-2.5)                20/29
The Rams won easily despite some shenanigans from the officials designed to keep everyone on the east coast up until midnight.

Selection: St. Louis Rams + 2.5 @ 8/11
